Landscape Designer & Salesperson

Summary:
This is a full time position with competitive pay and benefits. The Landscape Designer & Salesperson is responsible for developing and producing unique, high-quality landscape designs for our clients in a timely manner. This position is responsible for drafting, estimated and presenting landscape designs that align with client schedules and budgets.

Job Duties:

  • Communicate professionally with clients, potential clients, vendors, trade associations, and internal team members to support business development and client relations

  • Produce creative & innovative designs while staying current with industry products, trends, and techniques

  • Develop accurate project estimates and review them with clients

  • Collaborate with the installation team to ensure design integrity and provide seamless transition from sales to installation

  • Continue education in landscape design and sales

Requirements:

  • Punctual for all appointments and meetings

  • Draft designs and proposals in a timely, agreed-upon manner

  • Communicate with clients weekly to keep them informed of project progress and changes

  • Maintain confidentiality of client and company information at all times

  • Provide clients with the best possible information and guidance

  • 4 yr College Degree or Masters degree in Horticulture, Landscape Design, Landscape Architecture or related field

Work Conditions:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm

  • Frequent irregular or extended hours may be necessary during peak seasons or special projects
